UCLA Thai Smakom’s 11th Annual Thai College Day

ในวันเสาร์ที่ 25 กุมภาพันธ์นี้ เราจะมีโปรแกรมที่เรียกว่า College Day ซึ่งเป็นกิจกรรมส่งเสริมเยาวชนไทยให้มาสนใจในการศึกษาระดับสูง เช่นเรียนปริญญาตรี โท และเอกที่มหาวิทยาลัย เราจะมีกิจกรรมทั้งวันตั้งแต่ 9.00 น ถึง 5 โมงเย็นโดยไม่คิดค่าใช้จ่ายอะไรทั้งสิ้น และจะมีรถโรงเรียนรับจากวัดไทยสำหรับผู้ที่ไม่สามารถขับรถระยะใกลมาร่วมกิจกรรมได้ตอนเวลา 8.30 เช้า และ ไปส่งตอนเวลา 5-5:30 เย็น เราจะมีอาหารมื้อเที่ยงสำหรับทุกท่านโดยไม่คิดค่าใช้จ่ายเช่นกัน เรายินดีต้อนรับนักเรียนทุกวัย แต่จะเน้นนักเรียนมัทยม หรือ high school ที่กำลังจะสอบเข้ามหาวิทยาลัย และผู้ปกครองที่สนใจรายละเอียดในการเงินและค่าใช้จ่ายของการเรียนมหาวิทลัยอย่าง UCLA

9:00 – 9:30 Pick up students from Wat Thai of Los Angeles
9:30 – 9:45 Guide visitors from bus stop to Bruin Plaza
9:45 – 10:00 Give introduction and Welcome Speech
10:00 – 11:00 Campus Tour (Wilson plaza, Powell, Royce, Janss Steps, Sculpture Garden, YRL, Court of Sciences, PAB, Inverted Fountain, Bruinwalk, Bruin Plaza, Wooden)
11:00 – 11:45 Lunch in the dining halls … volunteers will get free swipes too!
11:45 – 12:45 Housing Tour (Small groups rotate between Plazas, Halls, and Suites)
12:45 – 1:00 Guide visitors back to Kerckhoff State Rooms
1:00 – 1:50 Admissions Workshop
1:50 – 2:40 Financial Aid Workshop
2:40 – 3:30 Transferring to and from Community College Workshop
3:30 – 3:50 Give out evaluation forms
3:50 – 4:00 Take attendees to the UCLA Store
4.00 – 4.30 Free time at the UCLA Store
4:30 – 4:45 Meet in front of Bruin bear for Closing Speech by Thai Smakom staff 4:45 – 5:15 Leave UCLA for Wat Thai of Los Angeles
