Wanda Pathomrit


Wanda Pathomrit is a Thai American student majoring in criminology and Asian American studies at California State University, Northridge. She is an active student leader working with different community organizations such as TASC (Thai Association of Southern California),  AACT (Asian American for Community and Talents) and the Thai CDC ( Community Development Center)  in order to promote social justice and gender equality. Wanda is very active in the community she has been a part of the 2010 Thai American Delegation program hosted by Thai Royal Consulate. She was also one of the program coordinators for two human trafficking educational campaigns on campus that attracted 200-400 students. She is currently an intern at Thai Community Development Center assisting Thai human trafficking survivors. She is also working for the Family Source Center as a case manager to assist low income Thai families and youth living in Los Angeles. Wanda will be graduating in the Fall of 2010 and hopes to continue her education to become a social worker to serve, educate, and spread awareness of Thai American social issues.
