Saint Vincent Hospital Seeks to Hire Thai Speaker
The Royal Thai Consulate General was informed from Saint Vincent Hospital that they are seeking to hire a Thai Speaking employee with the following details:
1. Position and Job Type
Part-time position as Community Health Promoter
2. Role and Responsibilities
2.1 Act as a translator and facilitator between patients and hospital employees; for example, provide translations during mammograms and diabetes tests at the hospital.
2.2 Coordinate with community and volunteer organizations to provide health services.
3. Qualifications
3.1 High School Degree
3.2 At least 1 year of experience organizing health services for the community
3.3 Bilingual in English and Thai
3.4 Knowledge of scientific and medical terminology
3.5 Ability to use Microsoft Office products such as Microsoft Word and Excel
