Los Angeles, CA – With its community partners, the Thai Community Development Center had a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house of the Hollywood Family Source Center (HFSC) in Thai Town on February 11, 2010 which will provide a third site that will offer linguistically and culturally competent services to low-income Thai individuals and families living in Thai Town beyond our current sites at our centers in the Central Hollywood and Sun Valley areas.The following range of services will be available in Thai: Outreach Information/Referral, Affordable Housing Search/Placement, Financial Literacy/Individual Development Account, Entrepreneurship Training, Small Business Development Assistance, Legal Consultations and Referrals, Health Access, Foreclosure Prevention, Know Your Rights Community Education Workshops (in the areas of housing, employment, government benefits, immigration, family law, consumer law), and Training in Combating Human Trafficking.
















Founded in 1962, TASC was established by Thai scholars and friends to promote the unity of Thais in California, induce an exchange of knowledge, and provide general assistance to its members and all Thais residing here or visiting.
